Do I need a receiver for a powered subwoofer?

Do I need a receiver for a powered subwoofer??? I have a few other bookshelf speakers and I want to connect them all for my music. If i do need a receiver, how do I connect the powered subwoofer to the receiver?? Also if I dont, then how will hook it up so it plays the music?? (by the way, the subwoofer is the Sony SA-W3000.)

I am about to send my autistic son to a special preschool and I am a nervous wreck?

My son is about to turn three in April. He will begin a state funded preschool at that time. He will be going to a public Elemantary school for 5 days a week for 6 hours a day. I am apprehensive about this because he is uncomfortable around people he doesn't know and has never been away from me and his dad. I worry about the teacher he will get and whether she will understand his needs. My son has feeding issues and still relies on milk as his primary source of nutrition and I worry that she will take his bottle away. The tough love approach is ineffective on him. I worry that he will have contact with the regular students who are not in the program. He cannot communicate with me to tell me if someone is mistreating him. Does anyone have any experience with this type of program? How did your kids do? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm so sick of my parents patronizing everything I do?

Okay, the bills you're helping them pay online is probably for the internet,which you don't seem very grateful for.Obviously checking email could be important to someone, but paying bills is much more important.It doesn't matter that you're 18, they're still your parents and you should still listen to them.Obviously they shouldn't insult you like they did, but personally i'd put bills above Yahoo answers.

Moving out?

How do you muster up the courage to move out of your partner's home? How do you deal with the fear of making a mistake, regret, the idea of him being with someone else? Even though I know he won't change into what I'm looking for, it's so hard to leave. Anybody with the same experience? How did you get the courage to do it? Thanks.

I understand Stoudemire was a good pickup, but they needed a lot more help than just one guy. They needed a superstar like Lebron to get them back into contention. The plan wasn't even to emble a team that could make the playoffs again, it was to build a team that could contend for the title right away.

George Foreman grill?

We were gifted with this grill with no instruction booklet. Is there any way to take the grills off to wash? It seems that everything is molded in or bolted down. It took me over 20 minutes to clean it today.

Why do people still cheer for the Red Sox?

Honestly, why do Red Sox fanatics think this team is the best ever. I mean, really? 80-something years without a championship? And I know you complain that the only reason the Yanks won so much is because they have the highest payroll. Well, you have the second highest payroll in baseball, so you should have the second highest championship rate, right? Wrong! They suck...horribly. The most popular fan you have is Jimmy Fallon, and he's just as big an idiot as the rest of Boston. I just don't understand what the big pull is for this team. They're not the underdog anymore. Nobody feels sorry for them. They're just as arrogant as Yankee fans, but at least the Yanks can back it up with wins. Someone, please explain this to me!
