How do I help my daughter?
My currently fourteen year old daughter has had a crush on her older brother's sixteen year old best friend Angel since she was ten. Her heart is obviously in her eyes (Angel has more than the normal amount of admirers: my neighbor's twin daughters, my best friend's daughter, a girl at my work place's niece and the list goes on and Angel is well known as a player). She tells me about her boy problems and we talk a lot and are very close. Last Friday after Angel and my son's football game I was standing in line behind him and Brock and Brock says, " What would you rate Bridget?" To which Angel smirks and says, "I'd rate that tight piece of mulatto a/s/s a 10 out of 10." "Yeah totally," Brock says and they laugh and nod their heads. Then Eric the water boy comes up and says, "to bad she's off limits to you guys remember the no siblings rule you retards made." To which Angel glares at Eric and says, "Yeah, but the only reason that you don't apply to that rule is there's no way in hell she'd go out with you scrawny midget." I was really pissed off at that and nearly lost my cool and beat the day light out of those boys but I kept cool and just walked off. My daughter can't seem to get over him. She's gone as far as rejecting other boys just to wait for Angel to finally ask her out which will never happen because of the sibling rule. Is there anyway I can help my daughter get over Angel.
