Hi, are "desperta'o" and "colorao" are spanish. These are frm spanish songs?

hey. if you have heard Down by Rakim y Ken-y or Los Bandoleros by Don Omar then you have heard words like despertao marchao tumbao and colorao. I know these are spanish songs sung by spanish artists but i thought words ending with ao were portuguese? Can someone please explain this to me? thank you
