How can I help by boyfriend deal with his parents divorcing?

My boyfriend is having trouble dealing with his parents maritial issues. There is talk of a divorce and I know he is really struggling with this. I have tried to just be there for him, but I noticed that our relationship is changing now too. What advice do you have for me? We have dated for ten months and have never had any problems, but now he is very moody and easily upset. I don't want to lose him and just wonder how to help him cope. He idolizes his father and the cause of the marriage issue falls on him. So not only is he dealing with the divorce, but the fact that his father is not the person he felt he was to begin with.
