Is it dry socket.20 characters?

It sounds like a dry socket. Not sure about TMJ, but I had 2 dry sockets when I had my wisdom teeth taken out, and they can cause a horrible amount of pain. If it is, the doctor stuffs them with some type of clove...it taste like burnt cloves, eww. Not sure of any other way to make it stop hurting in the meantime though, sorry. Good luck.
