Do I need a receiver for a powered subwoofer?

Do I need a receiver for a powered subwoofer??? I have a few other bookshelf speakers and I want to connect them all for my music. If i do need a receiver, how do I connect the powered subwoofer to the receiver?? Also if I dont, then how will hook it up so it plays the music?? (by the way, the subwoofer is the Sony SA-W3000.)

I am about to send my autistic son to a special preschool and I am a nervous wreck?

My son is about to turn three in April. He will begin a state funded preschool at that time. He will be going to a public Elemantary school for 5 days a week for 6 hours a day. I am apprehensive about this because he is uncomfortable around people he doesn't know and has never been away from me and his dad. I worry about the teacher he will get and whether she will understand his needs. My son has feeding issues and still relies on milk as his primary source of nutrition and I worry that she will take his bottle away. The tough love approach is ineffective on him. I worry that he will have contact with the regular students who are not in the program. He cannot communicate with me to tell me if someone is mistreating him. Does anyone have any experience with this type of program? How did your kids do? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Need to gain pounds quick but build muscle. How?

Gaining weight fast is the same as loosing fast....it's not a good idea health wise. Unfortunately you need some patience with the process. I too had lost a lot of weight from health related problems, a few years ago. I used weigh protein to help build back muscle, you can find it at GNC or even Sam's Club. Also going to the dr. and getting a blood test to see what you body lacks, nutrition wise will help. Remember all the vitamins your body utilize work together to build muscle and burn fat as well as properly maintain necessary fat deposits. So see what your lacking before you try and add things to your diet. Don't binge on fatty or high calorie foods just to gain weight unless your dr. gives the o.k. It wouldn't hurt to evaluate your eating habits and maybe adding some natural fats to your diet rather than junk food could help. But definitely high protein food and weigh protein help to build muscle in an adequate amount of time.

Do you at least have some basic hand tools and a dent puller? And if you just try to fill that big dent with bondo, it isn't going to turn out so good. If you feel you want to tackle the adventure, my advice is to get a good book on body repair methods. My currently fourteen year old daughter has had a crush on her older brother's sixteen year old best friend Angel since she was ten. I am just ending Junior in high school. My GPA is low... a 3.0 unweighted, but I am planning on retaking a few cles online before I file my App. It should bring me up to about a 3.3 or a 3.4. I have many honors and AP cles under my belt and I am planning on taking them again my Senior Year. I am in the Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) Club at my school and I have many hours of volunteer work. I have just been Nationally Certified as a Phlebotomist through a prestigeous Allied Health Program at my school. I've also held down a part-time job for the past two years. Oh.. and before I forget my SAT scores are a 2164. I know that I probably do not stand out as much compared to more accomplished students but I have heard that anyone will be accepted as long as they don't ask for fianacial aid. Is there any truth to this rumor? Under any of these cirstances... do I have any chance?

Supplements For a Headshaker ?

I have a 10 year old Morgan mare (had her since she was three) that has a head shaking problem. She's been doing it for a few years and it comes off and on depending on the sunlight, wind, and slight rain is really difficult for her, but usually it's not a problem and we do really well in our cles. She's been shown at mainly A rated Morgan breed shows her whole life. This spring/summer has been really bad though, such as when i was trail riding with a friend: we were trotting through a field at the beginning, about to really get going and she all of a sudden started shaking her head so badly she started to trip, so I slowed her to a walk and it got a little better, but we eventually went back to the barn because it was a frustrating situation for all of us (it was not a bug or anything). The next couple rides weren't nearly as bad (in the ring), but still frustrating because she's supposed to be collected/on the bit and it's nearly impossible when she starts shaking. I have been using a nose net for about a month and it's helped some, but I can't do main ring cles with the net (we do Hunt Seat and occasionally some dressage/jumper stuff), so I was wondering if anyone knew of any good supplements that help with head shaking ? Ok i went to the doctor && i was tested positive for chlamydia. I went to kroger & they gave azithromacin only 2 pills that were both 500 mm.Now i dont know how long ive had it or exactly who i got it from. But a couple weeks back i all of a sudden couldnt hold my bladder & it didnt burn but it hurt like something wasnt right.. Then about 4 days after i got on my birth control.. I had with my friend..(unprotected) & when i woke up my was swollen and tender to the touch. I got on ta internet & it said its normal and that it could be from too friction during if your small. Now that i know i have it the swelling went down but it itches now and it burns when i pee. Hyperventilation, Numbness, Body Shaking, Morning Vomiting, Nausea?

My boyfriend has been sick for over a week now with the above symptoms. It has gotten to where he only eats once a day due to nausea and loss of appetite and fear of throwing up. He went to the ER and they said he had deficiencies of calcium and phosphorus. Also, they said something about hyperventilation syndrome? I'm really worried. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing all of this? Or how to fix it? Please help I'm very worried. I've prayed a lot and his grandmother said he was feeling better today. Hisblood workk came back all clear (they took 10vialss!). Thank you Lord for his progress.

How much extra lumber to order?

I'm building new wooden screens for my house windows. It's a craftsman-style house so plain 1x3 and 1x4 pine is all I need. I've measured all the windows and have added up the amount I need if there were no wastage in cutting, but of course there are always some little ends left. Is there a good rule-of-thumb for how much "extra" to order? I'd expect less waste with longer original lengths, but it's hard for me to transport lengths longer than 12' in my little truck.

I have serious digestive issues and the doctors can't find the root of the problem. Crohn's disease showed up positive in my blood but when they did a colonoscopy they couldn't physically find it in my intestines. Creative Mommas! I need your help!?

I am having a really tough time picturing the black/red scheme with the lavender. I absolutely love the cake, but you will probably want to go with a white background if your main theme is ladybugs. I think the cake would look adorable with red and black polka dots on it. Make it easy on yourself, girl! If you know you want to do ladybugs, just stick with red and black and don't try to fit in the lavender. If you do decide you really want to use lavender, then I would scrap the idea of using red and black decorations and just stick with spring colors like lavender, yellow, light green etc. The ladybugs would just be an accent on the cake, and maybe you could make some ladybug favors or little decorations to go on the table. That cake and dress are absolutely precious, though. It's photos like those that make me wish I could have at least ONE girl!

Kidding about cheating???!?

So I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years. Things have been really good. But now he just seems to be taking everything as a joke. My daughter is 4 years old and I just tell her when she is playing or something, I make a woopsie face and say oh no your dress went up, we got to be a lady. and i pull it down and say thats better. I am having feelings I have never had before. Initially they love the attention and feel accomplished since they worked quiet hard to achieve the state of fame they have presently. The part they take on, from acting to singing etc, is their dream but just like the cubicle life having it's negative attributes the same comes with being a celebrity. It's hard to keep personal life away from the paparazzi and their forever scrutenized for their appearance to dress. To achieve true success is to be well known but to be well known is just that WELL KNOWN everyone knows about you or will pay big money to know everything. It just comes with the work/occupation they chose. Between paparazzi invading their lives and the life of a norm they'd prefer to act/sing their dreams rather than have talent and live behind a cubicle. The cost is their choice but we should look at them and ask why they're complaining. It's like judging a family member for being a lawyer if they get no sleep. It's their choice. My 16-year-old dog is suddenly suffering from disorientation and often walks in circles. Is it a stroke?

She also suffers from liver dysfunction, and was put under total anesthesia 3 weeks ago in order to remove some superficial tumors from her ears. A couple of days ago she vomited and had diarrhea, and since then she walks around the house senseless and disorientated- she often stops at corners without knowning where to go, or walks in circles- and cannot rest. She recognises us but we cannot confort her. She has lost her appetite and does not drink water. The vet could not give a diagnosis and mentioned the possibility of a stroke. Man, i can't believe you beat Blackwings with this. And by the way, how is this Deck good against Gladiator Beasts or Crystal Beasts? What are the cards that negate special summons? Why is it that male gynos always suggest you're making your female pain up or that it's all in your head?

I have endo, adenomyosis and PCOS, surgically proven, and am still dealing with the pain. Now of course, the adenomyosis diagnosis is not 100% accurate because they say the only "real" way to know is to have it taken out. But it's suspect from my laparoscopy. Anyway, I have been floated around to several different gynos, and all but 1 were men. My husband is in the military and we move around, a lot. Each time we are restationed I have to check in to the hospital, explain my situation (and why I am on Ultram and motrin and sometimes vicodin) bring them my surgical report and sit there while they do another "exam" on me and explain that my pain can't be caused by what I say it is. Yesterday's male gyno suggested I may not really even have endometriosis, despite what the surgeon noted, and wants me to do ANOTHER pelvic ultra sound. (Those aren't fun, you have to drink 32 oz. of water before). What is up with these guys trying to make me feel as if they know more and I am not hurting?

The road show of Presidential candidats for the Democrats reminds me of the old minstrel shows. They dance for the selected audience to try and get a few bucks. The way Hillary has suddenly become the standard bearer for every minority she can think up is disgusting. Where were her concerns when Billy boy was governor of Ark or President. She catered to the rich Cinese to get campaign dollars instead of looking into minority problems. I hope the people are smart enough to understand she is just doing a song and dance but will morph into a monster if elected.

Why are men such jerks?

My husband's ex called this am to say she was "attending a benefit" and couldn't meet us at the usual halfway point to pick up her son (my stepson who visits every weekend). She wants us to drive the full 60 miles to bring him home. I say that is fine as long as she drives all the way to our house to drop him off next weekend. Is that fair? And I also think she should have had the decency to mention this on Friday night when we picked my stepson up. Am I being petty or fair? I have been arrested and questioned in regards to setting up a fake id on a /dating website.?

The person the id was about was my husband's ex wife. The police told me they traced it back to an IP address at my work. I'm not sure if the IP is my actually computer I always use or just a company IP. I was questioned but not charged. I cant eat, sleep etc, my husband and I are on the verge of splitting up over this. I have contacted a solicitor and they told me I just have to wait now, wait and see if Im sent a summons for charges. I'm scared, I've never been in trouble with police before, have no prior record etc, have been in my job for past 16 years, I may lose my job if charged because they say the fake id was set up from work computer. I no longer live in Ohio, and while what happened is disturbing and shows the police department is not run very well, what happened may or may not be legal. I want to share it and shame them in hopes it does something to make it better there. It was getting to be so bad there, if you called the police about someone breaking into your house and they came out and you had been fighting with the intruder and got injured, the police would as likely take you to the hospital and leave, telling the intruder to make sure he closes the door when he leaves as they would arrest him. I know not all the police are like that, but there at least, too many of them are.

take no notice of stupid answers like the one before.yes i had this over the last 2 weeks i was due it is called Braxton Hicks? i was told by my midwife was to control your breathing that helps.when you get the pain take deep breaths and it will go but when you are in labour or having contractions they will come and go more than that.my waters broke over 2 weeks then tock me 2 days in labour and god it felt like weeks.lol. if you are not sure just ask your midwife or phone the doctors tell them the problem and they will get back to you and give you advice xx

What is a good WoW Rogue Build?

Im not sure now with the new talents, but pre-BC combat daggers was the best rogue build for PvE. With more 5 man instances now also imp sap is viable once again. Your best bet is just to play around with it. Different specs suit different people differently. When I play a rogue I always spec combat b/c I cant stand doin the backstab bs.

I'm a figure skater and I really want to join disney on ice in two years but I want to know more about it. This sounds a lot like my son. I worried about the same things, but it is more than likely within the normal spectrum. When my son gets plenty of sleep (12-14 hours) he's so much easier. My high school freshman daughter came home telling me of an ignment she had for Spanish cl, for Day of the Dead "Dia de los Muertos" (worth a test grade.) I pick my battles, and often leave some for other more vocal moms to fight for all of us. But for some reason I am particularly offended by this. How should I respond reasonably? German Shepherd Puppy 2 months old?

i have a 2 month old german shepherd puppy and she bites. HARD. she made me bleed at least 4-5 times. When she even touches me with her teeth, i yelp and she goes away. For about 5 seconds. then she comes back and attacks me again. I have to put her into solitary confinement for about a minute, then i take her out again and she goes wild about a minutes later. what do i do? Quantum Of Solace. Biggest disappointment.?

After Casino Royale we all (including myself) had high hopes for this as it was effectively the second part of a two-parter starting with CR. But unlike CR this had comparatively no dialogue (Craig was suddenly the strong SILENT type..) and no narrative although the action sequences were well done despite the sloppy direction. And that aerial chase-what was THAT all about? Not to mention the funny in-your-face action camera work where it was difficult to make out exactly what was happening. (Come back Martin Campbell!) The excellent Jeffery Wright (Felix Leiter) was reduced to a virtual cameo appearance. Nice to see Rene Mathis back again only to be let down by a script that made virtually no sense in parts. Not much originality either-shades of Goldfinger, Licence To Kill and a few others for good measure. Hard to imagine Paul Haggis being involved in this script at all. Not that bad but ultimately disappointing I'm afraid. 6/10

Stepson lies to school counselor and srs about being abused. What should I do to protect myself in the future?

My 12 years old stepson was prompted by his mother to tell his school counselor that " we fight, throwing things at each other while he hides in the closet shaking". That resulted in SRS investigating child abuse. Mother of the s.son did the same thing before when he was 3 to another woman who was with my husband at that time. I feel humiliated, violated, and similar to what a victim of would feel. S.Son lives with us half of the time. He is extremely spoiled and hard to deal with as it is. Now I cant even bring myself to be around when he is around. I come home when he is ready to go to bed . I know it could happen again, and I will be at the mercy of a social worker.I will lose my job if the"abuse" is confirmed.
